About Us

 Divergent Decks exists to transform communication for neurodivergent individuals and their loved ones. We recognize that traditional conversation advice—"just talk," "be spontaneous," "read between the lines"—doesn't work for minds that process information differently. Through thoughtfully designed conversation cards, we provide the clear, concrete questions that neurodivergent brains need to express themselves authentically, understand others deeply, and build meaningful connections. Our tools replace ambiguity with clarity, reduce social anxiety with structure, and honor neurodivergent communication styles while bridging understanding across all neurotypes. Because everyone deserves relationships where they can think differently AND connect deeply—without having to change who they are. 

Dr. Artemis holds a Masters in Psychology and is a doctoral candidate in Developmental Psychology. "Artie" is autistic, and has an AUDHD sister. They spent a few years teaching neurodivergent students, and is providing their expertise and guidance in the development of Divergent Decks. Artie is a warrior for the rights, protection, acceptance, and promotion of neurodivergent individuals.

 Roni K holds a Masters in I/O Psychology and spent 25 years in Corporate HR, working to improve leadership and communication at all levels of organizations from 5 to 5,000 staff.  Roni wrote "The Inclusive Workplace Supportive Neurodivergent Employees for Success" as part of her mission to improve opportunities and inclusion for neurodivergent individuals. Roni has autistic adult children, and has understands the challenges they experience with communication, and the challenges people have communicating with them. Divergent Decks is a tool for everyone facing these challenges.
